Sarah Joyce

sarah joyceHaving graduated from drama school in 2008 Sarah made her West End debut in Zorro at the Garrick Theatre where she understudied and played the lead female role, Luisa. This was quickly followed by a world tour as principal singer onboard Cunard’s renowned Queen Victoria cruise liner. Following this Sarah toured with the 25th anniversary production of Phantom of the Opera, covering and playing Madame Giry. More recently Sarah has performed in the London Palladium production of Scrooge, starring Tommy Steele where she played Mrs Cratchit.

Born in Surrey, Sarah trained at Guildford School of Acting where she was awarded ‘Singer of the Year’ for two consecutive years. She was also one of five students chosen to participate in a workshop with prestigious musical theatre composer Jason Robert Brown. Whilst training Sarah was a soloist and company member of the GSA Singers, and played the roles of Jenny in Stephen Sondheim’s Company, the Giraffe in Just So and Miranda in The Tempest.

She has performed in some of London’s most renowned venues including The Royal Albert Hall and St Paul’s Cathedral and was honoured to appear at the London Palladium as part of the 2008 Royal Variety Performance before HRH Prince Charles and Camilla, The Duchess of Cornwall.

Sarah can be heard on the original cast recording of “Zorro”.

Sarah has worked in a number of singing waitress functions and with a premiere background in West End theatre, its advisable to book Sarah twelve months in advance due to her busy West End commitments.
